Quick Last Minute Gift Idea: Loot Crate Subscription

If there is one thing that both gamers and nerds alike love, it's nerd culture memorabilia. Visit any of our desks at work and I bet you'll be met with bobbleheads, action figures, or other similar devices to show off our love for our hobby. My desk can be found with a number of figures ranging from old favorite Star Wars to my newer love, Fallout. I was incredibly excited when Loot Crate offered to let me review a couple of their crates just in time for holidays. I didn't really know what to expect, but I agreed and after receiving two crates, I can say without a doubt, that this would make an awesome gift to anyone who enjoys nerd or gamer culture.

The first crate I received two weeks ago and from what I can gather, each crate has a theme that it tries to follow. This crate was dubbed, "Combat" and included a number of items that fit into that category. You can check out the images below for the full list of items included, but my personal favorites were the Fallout bobblehead, Fallout socks, and the little Murloc dude from World of Warcraft. The second crate I received came just this morning, and to be honest, is my favorite of the two. The second crate came in a UNSC (Halo) container and included a holiday shirt, BB-8 Star Wars socks, a Galaxy Quest patch, and my absolute favorite - a Loot Crate exclusive Han Solo Pop figure. To say I was excited about opening that one is an understatement and Han is joining Kylo Ren on my desk at work as soon as I get back to work.

If you need a last minute gift for someone, Loot Crate would be perfect. It comes in at $19.37 a month (including shipping) and they will send out a crate to anyone on your list. You can also buy one off specialty crates for things like Star Wars, Anime, etc. You can also buy groups of subscriptions and save a little extra money as well. If you have a gamer/nerd on your wishlist and you need something else for Christmas - look no further than a Loot Crate subscription available over at their website: https://www.lootcrate.com/

Also, the items are always a favorite with my son, who couldn't enough of being Shredder while taking pics of the items.
